Held over three days at Florence Italy best known event venue, Stazione Leopolda, Modaprima is structured exclusively for those who buy direct from factories. The concept of the show is to provide resources for ‘near-shore’ sourcing, so you can personally discover what Italian companies have to offer.
This is the place to get the latest information on sourcing sampling know-how, evaluate potential new suppliers and network with other like–minded professionals from your industry.
The manufacturers showcase
The event will introduce you to leading edge suppliers whose experts will be on hand to discuss their capabilities. These range from full-service ‘fast fashion’ with high volume and ultra-fast turn-around, to high quality CMT, specialist processes or fabrics, difficult garments and many more. The ‘showcase’ comprises of over 70 hand-picked suppliers from Italy with the capacity to cater for your requirements. Many companies will display samples of their own collections for ladies, men and children, as well as wovens, knit wear, jersey wear, denim, embroidered garments in a large variety of textiles, as well as many product types, including casual wear, day wear, evening and party wear and more, view the exhibitor list here.

Successfully launched in 2011, the development of www.modaprima.it is now guided by a specially invited advisory Pittimmagine of leading retailers and brands who help the organizers to guide the concept of the show, ensuring it meets changing market requirements. This means that when you visit the event you can be sure that like-minded professionals in the sourcing sector have been fully consulted and involved in the planning process – thus contributing to its effectiveness.
